S6/E1195

Bimpe pretends that her friend is having issues with her relationship and takes Frank to task to explain to her how to know when a guy likes her. He tells her that he has customers to attend to and moves on.
The staff gather in the conference room to wait for Angela. They speculate on what is going on? Feke tells them that she heard Angela on the phone talking about buying over the company. Someone asks if she was talking to Angelique? Angela breezes in with Charlie who she introduces as the legal adviser for Odyssey Pictures. Odun tells her that they need answers and decisions on how to move the company forward. They are currently losing money on set, rental of equipment, etc. she tells him to slow down. Decisions will be made but not now. She has contracted some forensic auditors and the police. She asks them all to cooperate with them. The staff wonder why they are involved? She has also set up a press briefing to announce the changes in the company.
Bimpe accuses Frank of lying when he said he has customers to attend to. She asks him why guys lie? He then answers her earlier question. If a guy likes you, he will tell you. He tells her not to push the guy because it will backfire. She asks what she will do and quickly says her friend will do during the date they have this night? Frank tells her to start by being very hot she agrees to pass the advice on to her “friend”.
Funmi brings Amaka the press release announcing Dr. Gyang as chairman, capture of Caesar, etc. Amaka asks what the arrest of Phillip is doing in the press release? Funmi does not know. Amaka asks her to call Louisa but Funmi hesitates. Amaka calls Louisa herself and she answers rudely. Amaka asks her to come to her office. She says she is busy and asks Amaka to send a mail. Amaka asks her to suspend everything and come. She asks Amaka to wait and drops the phone!
Audu asks Greg when he will review the scripts? He will do that tomorrow. Audu asks after the presenters. They seem to be doing way better than he expected especially Bimpe. Greg speaks about Bimpe in glowing terms. Audu tells him that Bimpe seem to have his mumu button on repeat and asks him to watch it. Greg is confused.
Amaka walks into Louisa’s office and gives her a dressing down. She cuts Louisa off over again and again. When she is through, she reminds Louisa that she is her bosses boss and for as long as she works in that office, she will not be unruly. Louisa asks what Amaka means? Is she planning to also force her out like she did Majek? Amaka reminds her that Majek left on his own. She tells Amaka that they will hear from her lawyers. Lawyers? Why will she sue? Louisa walks off.
Greg asks Audu what he means by talking about Bimpe? Audu reminds him of the way Bimpe was fighting with the make-up artists during the photo-shoot. He thinks Bimpe is a high-maintenance babe. He asks Greg to carefully consider whether he has the capacity to carry that?
Angela wraps up her press statement and the journalists throw questions. They struggle but become orderly. Some of the questions are about Brenda and why she left the company. Angela expects Brenda to answer for herself. Does she have terminal illness? No. Lola asks her about Abubakar being portrayed as a hero. She says she had been busy with the transition to notice. Lola pushes on but she is told that the press statement is about odyssey and their transition not Abubakar. On that note, the press statement is shut down.
Amaka discusses Louisa’s threat with her lawyer. He is happy she opened up about everything including the very personal matters. She wants to know if Louisa has a case? He believes that Amaka made a mistake by requesting for the performance review after spilling the beans to Louisa. It will appear like intimidating her for not agreeing to her advances. Amaka protests her innocence. He asks if she has a recording if the exchange between her and Majek? She says they do not violate the privacy of their staff in that manner. The lawyer asks her whether she thinks Majek will choose her or his wife if he needs to take sides? Amaka detests that but he tells her that such a reaction will taken against her!
Bimpe comes in and meets Lola poring over her iPad. She is doing research. Bimpe tries to help but she calls Greg to help. Bimpe says that is what she is there to help with. Lola insists that she wants only Greg. Bimpe insists on watching. Lola asks whether they can use some clips from YouTube? She manages to fob Bimpe off and Greg agrees to call the company that posted the clip. Bimpe tells Greg that she finds call sheets confusing. Lola laughs at her sudden love for call sheets. She reminds Lola that she was talking to Greg. Greg runs off and Lola taunts Bimpe to run after him!
Brenda calls John and tells him that the press release she has is missing the trash bin. He asks whether he should get one? She says no and starts dictating instructions to him before she apologizes for getting over his head. She will soon hire a proper PA. John says he has his pen and can cope. She asks him to get her the package from Phillip. John brings the carton and she proceeds to sort the items into valuables, to be reviewed and thrash. She ends up putting everything but very few files out to be trashed. She also thinks that this is not a good sign.
Yahimba walks in on Freddy playing a game. He looks at her warily and is tongue-tied. She asks if Phillip has fully eroded Freddy’s manners? Freddy greets her and she is happy Freddy still remembers her name is ma Mba. She asks after his grandfather but Freddy manages to divulge nothing. She hears that they have caught the man that held his family hostage? Freddy says yes. She asks him for reactions especially as she knows he hears whispers. Freddy is taken aback but is saved by the arrival of Phillip who asks what the f*ck when he sees Yahimna! She reminds him of his manners and tells him she came to speak with him about her daughter! Phillip looks shocked.

Greg asks Lola about Bimpe and as she was dissing Bimpe, Bimpe walks in with Mr. Nwakamma, the subject of their interview. Lola and Greg introduce themselves and Bimpe and Lola start the struggle to impress him.
Charlie welcomes Angela into her new office with a fanfare. She tells him to stop and worries what will happen if Bode Lawson wins the bid. Charlie asks her not to worry. It could be a ploy by Brenda to get her to bid higher. She is worried about being stuck with another partner who may turn hostile.
Bimpe and Lola interview Mr. Nwakamma about his millions, how he started off, etc. he tells them he started early by selling fruits to his classmates, etc. Bimpe cosys up to him. After the first segment, Mr. Nwakamma goes to stretch his legs and Lola and Bimpe go at each other again. Greg commends them but Bimpe asks if he only thinks they did well? She asks how Greg felt at her cosying up to Mr. Nwakamma? Greg missed the flirting but Bimpe goes over to him and continues by inviting him out for a drink.
The staff gather and discuss the details of the capture of Caesar. They consider the different parts played by various parties; Abubakar and finally Phillip. Phillip walks in and they ask him how things went? He acknowledges he played a role in the capture but asks the staff to get back to work now that they are all safe. As they shuffle out, he asks Louisa where Majek is? He is not available on the phone and he needs his response to an assignment. Louisa says she has not seen him and when Phillip reminds her he is her husband, she says he has not seen him since he quit. Amaka forced him to quit.
Mr. Nwakamma enjoyed his interview. He thinks he gave out too much information and suggests inviting his rivals for the same interview. Lola agrees but Bimpe zones out. He suggests they go for lunch. Lola is eager to do that but Bimpe does not sound so.
Amaka and Funmi prepare for the board meeting and while they are at it, Phillip walks in and asks Amaka why she forced Majek out? Amaka asks Funmi out and tells Phillip that now that he is no longer chairman, he will be made head of drama. He is livid that she allowed Laide to leave and now she has also forced the only man that can prove her guilt out. She confirms that Majek left on his own. Phillip orders why she could not have kept him by warming up to him? He thinks she is a destructive influence.
Haruna givesBrenda the offer from Angela. He thinks it is ridiculously lower than Mr. Lawson’s. Brenda accepts Angela’s offer to Haruna’s surprise. He asks why she will do that kind of a thing? She reminds him that he is paid only to draw up agreements and not to offer advice. As he leaves, she wonders where angels got all that money from?
Lola and Mr. Nwakamma continue to discuss over lunch till Bimpe steps in and flirts with him. He takes a call and excuses himself. The ladies fight over him. Lola thinks Bimpe is stringing two men together. Bimpe thinks Lola should look at the mirror. As they fight, Mr. Nwakamma comes back with his fiancée. The ladies look deflated. He is leaving with his fiancée but invites them to have lunch on him. As he leaves, Lola leaves in their wake. Bimpe sits down to enjoy the lunch but Greg comes in soon after. He wonders where Mr. Nwakamma is? Bimpe tells him and he offers to buy her a drink!
PAW meets Omar who asks how he captured Caesar? He needles PAW with the guilt of shooting his father. PAW confirms that he has confessed to the police and now they know who shot his father. Omar has nothing to hold him by. Amaka walks in and asks them who shot who?
Omar leaves two of them and PAW confirms to Amaka that he shot his father. He fired at Caesar but Caesar pulled FAW into the oath if the bullet. Amaka asks him why he had been lying about it all these while? It is now coming out because Caesar was caught and the truth will come out? She cannot even look at him after he accused her of aiding Laide? She runs off!
Feke brings Angela some files and raises her nose at Angela. Angela asks her to prepare her old office for Charlie as the chief legal counsel for Odyssey. Feke continues to harass Angela till Angela asks her to get her coffee and remember how she likes it. Feke continues to ask her what they should expect but she takes a call from Barrister Haruna and tells Feke that she now owns and runs the company. She will give a statement but knows Feke will spread the news before her coffee!
Greg and Bimpe gist over drinks. She finds Mr. Nwakamma attractive but his fiancée has already fallen over him. As they discuss, she continues to steer him off work. He commends her dress sense and how well the first show went. The fans are raving on social media. As they gist, Audu calls Greg and he runs off leaving Bimpe sneering!
Dr. Gyang tells Amaka that he is not seeking to become chairman for selfish reasons. He will support her if she wanted to become chairman. She says he has enough to do as CEO. She also agrees with him that Phillip is not fit to become chairman. He is pleasantly surprised but asks for her reason.
PAW visits Brenda and expresses his shock at her leaving Odyssey Pictures. She scolds him about the way Black Ananse is run. He says he has been busy but the company is doing fine. She does not agree and tells him not to worry about her. She rad that he accepted help from Alhaji Abubakar and he really needs to worry about that. She tells him that she now owns half of Black Ananse and she intends to make it bigger than what they dreamed and she does not want PAW to stand in her way. PAW tells her that the company was not big enough for brim and Kwame and it certainly won’t be big enough for two of them. She asks him not to stand in her way!

Greg comes to get the ladies prepped for the opening of the finale. They are ready and Bimpe tries to talk to him about his standing her up in her place but he runs off to check on sounds an, etc.
Angela asks Yusuf what he wants? His boss wants to offer his condolence for Angela’s loss and is ready to make things better. Angela asks why he is doing that now when he did not help when she needed it? Yusuf says he was busy with his trials now. He is also ready to return the money her father was accused of stealing. Angela wonders what use it is for today? Yusuf tells her that whatever she wants to use it for is left to her. He leaves her a card and asks her to call whenever she needs the funds.
Bimpe and Lola prep for the show with Bimpe stumbling through her lines. They cut and before Audu and Greg get to them, Bimpe scoots off. Audu is not finding it funny and asks Greg to ensure that she is ready for the show or he will not mind using only one host.
The policeman asks Yahimba to check if her son is there? She says she sent him on an errand to go and help her get something but he has disappeared. Caesar says it is possible he did not see what he was sent to get. Yahimba asks if that is why he will not come back and report so? She rains abuses on the child and concludes that she may be forced to forget him in prison. The policeman takes her along to another cell.
Greg goes to ask Bimpe to shape up or be kicked out. Audu comes out and eyes her.
Freddy comes home with his bag. As Cosmo takes the bags in, he asks Phillip for an update and Phillip confirms they are safe now that Caesar has been caught. Freddy asks after Sheila and Fred and Phillip tells him they are okay. He spoke with them the other day. Freddy wants to talk to them. Phillip asks him to go freshen up first. Phillip also agrees that he needs to speak with Sheila too. He has some updates.
Charlie comes back and waves a paper in front of Angela. Her father has properties, a lot of land which he bought since and they are in Angela’s name. He agrees to stay up all night trying to calculate the value so that they can make Brenda an offer. Angela tells him that they have another option now. He wants to know what it is?
Bimpe nails the presentation alongside Lola. After discussing safety measures in construction, she runs off again when the director shouts “cut”. Lola wonders where she is always running off to?
Sheila talks to Freddy and Phillip via Skype. She brings Freddy up to date on things but insists that he cannot see Fred yet. She is comfortable and Dan and TTK are also there to support her. They cut their honeymoon in Greece short. Dan got TTK a role in a play there. Freddy wonders how she can cope when she cannot speak French, German or any Swiss language. He has been reading up on Switzerland since they left. Sheila asks him to run along so that she can discuss with Freddy. He asks why he can’t stay? They shoo him away.
Phillip asks Sheila how Fred is? She assures him that he is okay. He is resting from a series of surgery. Phillip asks if she is sure and she assures him that Fred is resting. There is a fragment of bullet in his lung but the doctors want him sufficiently rested. Phillip tells her that they have caught Caesar. She is pleasantly surprised and asks how it happened? He tells her he was involved. She says he took a risk. He assures her that he had help from someone who knows what he is doing. Someone she knows Alhaji Abubakar. Sheila gasps.
Haruna comes to meet Brenda. Angela is ready to make an offer. Brenda asks him to draw up the papers. He advises caution. He does not think Angela is in a position to make an offer better than Bode Lawson. Brenda asks him to draw up the papers. Angela’s offer is her headache. She can grapple with Bode Lawson when it is all over.
Audu thanks everyone for the nice conclusion to the prep. He wants everyone present and fresh tomorrow for the opening. As they leave, Lola gives her notes to Greg to look over with a fresh eye. He asks after Bimpe but Lola tells him she is already on her way home.
Sheila is shocked that Phillip reached out to Masters. Phillip says Alhaji Abubakar reached out to him and he made good on his promise. Sheila thinks that masters will come back to ask for something in return. Phillip insists that he owes masters nothing but Sheila thinks he has been offered a route back into their lives. He is not a changed man as Phillip thinks. Phillip tells her that there is something important he wants to discuss. Before he could start, he sees Freddy hovering behind him. He screams at Freddy to go away. Sheila suggests he goes to talk to Freddy. She needs to attend to something as the visiting time is running out. Phillip tries to talk but she moves on.
Charlie consoles Angela over the valuation of the properties which did not turn out as they expected. Angela frets but he assures her that Bode Lawson’s offer may not be as high as she thinks. Barrister Haruna is shown in and he passes on the documents transferring the role of CEO of the company to Angela. She executes the documents and is congratulated by the guys. Haruna asks for their offer and when Charlie passes it on he laughs at the low offer and tells them that Bode’s offer is higher. Charlie asks him to do the right thing and present their offer to his client. He agrees but tells them that they know what the response will be.

Yahimba takes Lola to task about why she thinks Sheila has no family? Lola insists that Sheila had no family when she got married. She asks if that is why Yahimba killed the story on Yaya and Sheila, etc! Yahimba insists that her new-found love for tv must have affected her investment in Lola. She orders Lola out of the house and when Lola insists, she orders her off. Yaya gloats and her mum lands her a slap!
Audu frets about the absence of Lola and hopes it is traffic. Bimpe jokes that she has been abducted by aliens. Greg insists that she will soon be there. Bimpe asks if Peju will feature them on The Juice? Peju insists that they still need to prove their worth first. After a while, Audu rushes back and asks Bimpe to step in and meet a corporate sponsor in Lola’s absence.
The staff worry about their lack of pay and this has affected their ability to organize for valentine’s Day. The receptionist comes to look for who will fill in for her while she goes for a job interview. They look at her like a traitor while arguing about Angela’s ability to run the company. Charlie blunders in looking for Angela and they ask him to go right in!
Bimpe abandons the corporate sponsor and complains that he cannot string two words together. Lola breezes in and grabs Bimpe’s drink while asking why Bimpe is not working the room. Bimpe thinks she is the most boring person alive and Greg tells her that is why she is needed to brighten things up.
Bimpe and Greg suddenly realize that they are all alone in the bar. They ask where everyone went to and frank tells them that everyone has gone. They tried to get their attention but they were too into each other. They are welcome to stay as the perfect Valentine advert. Greg offers to take Bimpe home and she agrees abandoning her car.
Charlie explains to Angela that the administrators of her dad’s estate did not agree that FCC declaring her father dead is similar to finding a body. She will have to wait for 7 years. Angela asks him for his Valentine’s day plan? Dinner with mum. She is also avoiding love. Angela offers him the job of legal adviser to Odyssey Pictures. She says he is the only person she can trust.
Yahimba chides Yaya for still sniffling and allowing a two-bit reporter to almost score a scoop on her? She thinks that Yaya continues to pile up disappointments one after the other. Yaya tries to talk and she shuts her down. If the reporter puts two and two together, the family could be at risk. She asks Yaya not to do anything stupid as she goes out!
Greg walks Bimpe home. She steps into a puddle and he wipes her shoe clean with his handkerchief. She asks what he thinks of her shoes and he says they have lovely soles. She asks what he thinks of her toes? She has nice toes, she says. She asks him to tell her something romantic, even if he has to lie. He tells her that all the other girls he dated wants to be told the truth. She asks him what they were like? He tells her that they are not as important as her. She smiles and says he learns fast.
Angela and Charlie try to get an extension from Brenda to pay for her shares in Odyssey Pictures. He calls Brenda’s representatives but they tell him Brenda is not interested in an extension. There is a bode Lawson ready to snap up the shares!
Charlie asks if Angela knows Bode Lawson? She confirms he used to be a board member but wonders why he is suddenly crawling out of the woodwork now? She calls Feke to get her everything they have on Bode Lawson. Charlie thinks that his buying the shares may offer them a way out. Angela says no way will she allow him buy majority shares in the company. Charlie acknowledges he is not doing too well as a counsellor. He remembers what her father said and says he needs to get into her father’s records to check. Angela agrees.
Yahimba accosts a policeman in the station and begs to be let into the station to check if her son, Abasinkowo is in custody. He had disappeared for two weeks and once he is missing, she knows he is in custody. He says they have no one like that in custody. She says he changes his name once he is in custody. The policeman agrees to help and takes her into the station.
Bimpe thanks Greg for walking her home and hopes he won’t be as busy as he was the last time. She extends her lips to him for a kiss but he asks if her neck is painting her? She says no, she is stretching. He excuses himself and leaves. She wonders what is wrong with all men?
Feke dumps a pile of files on Bode Lawson on Angela’s desk. She asks when Angela will finish with the paperwork and get to doing real things? Angela tells her that she is enjoying her insolence so she can continue. She starts saying that Angela has a visitor but Angela cuts her off by asking that she fetches refreshment for Charlie. Feke tells her that Yusuf if Ok Fowler is waiting to see her.
Yahimba walks in front of the cell with the inmates howling like a pack of wolves. Towards the end, she comes face to face with Caesar. He calls her mum and asks why she came there? He hopes that all is well?

Chuks and Ene are all packed and ready to leave. They thank Salewa and Bimpe for helping them keep an eye on things. Chuks leaves to get a taxi and Ene asks Salewa to stop by and check the flat even though Bimpe has offered to do so mile did not find that funny. Chuks comes back & Ene reminds Salewa she is the caretaker now!
Brenda calls Phillip again and gets voice mail again. She leaves a message. Charlie visits and says she is there to represent Miss Dede. He is there to offer to buy 5 per cent of Brenda’s shares and document her resignation. Brenda does not want to sell 5 per cent. If Angela is not ready, she will find someone else.
Sho brings the whole world into Ene’s flat. They are ready to show the other girls. She needs to raise money. They ask about her mum but she is not ready to provide more. Their friend get a text about a scholarship & Salewa is ecstatic while Sho does not want anything to do with it.
Cosmos serves Phillip a drink. He asks after everyone and Cosmos accounts for everyone. Laide has gone out with Ife without escort. Phillip is about to blow out on the security men but Amaka tells her she is responsible. Phillip asks if Laide left with anything? She says Laide left with her passport. Phillip is furious. How can Amaka let Laide leave now that Caesars has been caught and they can prove Laide’s guilt? Amaka tells her Laide confessed to everything and it is not okay to punish her for something she did in a moment of desperation. Phillip blows up and tells her that people have been hurt. Funmi was shot, Fred has been lying ill in hospital. He could not believe that anyone could be that dumb and still breathe. He asks if Amaka has been working with Laide on anything since she brought Laide back into their lives? He wonders what Amaka has for psychopaths and how Fred could let her share their name? A thoroughly dressed-down Amaka turns to leave. He asks where she is going to and she tells him she is getting away from him!
Caro tells Salewa that Caesar has been caught. She says that is the second good news she is hearing that day. The first is about the scholarship. She is dismayed they require 3.5 gap to get in. Carol encourages her to work harder. She gets a call from their friend. Sho has thrown her out. She wants a flat mate that can rep her. She is currently holding an auction at Ziggy’s. Salewa runs off to Ziggy’s.
Dannie finally meets Phillip. They talk about Amaka and Phillip is not bothered. She tells him about giving Brenda the shares and Phillip asks if Brenda strong-armed her into it?
Sho is auctioning her space to two deserving girls. The guys groan at being left out. Auction starts at N100k. Salewa drags her away and tells her that she cannot do that. She does not agree. Sales a threatens to call Ene. She begs that the guys are already interested and if she stops now, she will not be able to live down the shame. Sales agrees but Helen stays. She jumps back to her group and tells them the first space has gone!
Yaya gets in and gives Phillip a passionate embrace and says they have been missing each other completely devoid of Dannie’s presence. She went shopping and Phillip is not allowed to look into the bags till tomorrow. Phillip tries to bring Dannie into the gist but she was not done yet. She asks what they are doing tomorrow or is he planning a surprise? He asks if she has met Dannie? She says yes, they have walked into each other. That’s Phillip’s sister’s friend? He says yes and he asks her to allow him conclude with Dannie.
Feke brings Angela coffee in the office and when Angela asks her for cream, she replies that Brenda never drinks her coffee with cream! Charlie walks in and Angela turns to him. She asks him how things went with Brenda and he tells her that Brenda is not interested in selling only 5% of her shares!
When they finish, Phillip wishes her well. Dannie hopes that she has not gotten him in trouble with Yaya? He tells her it is nothing. He calls Sankey and tells her that Laide has left the house and once Caesar implicates Laide, they must use the report to track her down! Snakes asks him to leave the police work to her and drops the phone. Yaya comes out to meet Phillip. She saw Amaka on her way out and she did not look happy. She also knows that he must have blown up when he learnt of Laide leaving. She asks who next is getting the sack? He tells her that they need to talk!
Sho pushes her price to N200k and was going till Frank comes to pull her away. Ziggy’s is not an auction house. Her friends threaten to scatter the place and starts grabbing things. Salewa begs him to let her conclude. She quickly wraps it up and finally meets her new flat mate.
Yaya tells Phillip that she loves him. He agrees but says no amount of love can change the fact that she is trouble. She begs him and says they can get through any troubles together. Whatever trouble she got into was because of him. He tells her that he is handling so many things and cannot juggle her’s too. She has to leave. She breaks down crying and asks where she can go to? Her mum threw her out and he is throwing her out a week to her birthday? He leaves her and moves on.
Angela asks Charlie how Brenda is? Charlie says she is okay. She is also serious about selling the shares and if Angela does not buy, she will find another buyer. Angela is not ready to deal with any strange partner like Masters, etc. Charlie tells her to buy the shares then. She tells him she does not have that money and she is not a sinking fund baby. Charlie thinks she may be that!
Omar finishes at Ziggy’s and sees Yaya sitting down at the bar with her bags gas and a bottle of brandy in her front. He asks if she is traveling or what? When she did not answer, he asks if it has to do with Phillip? He asks what she is going to do now and she says she is a survivor. He reminds her that tomorrow is Valentine’s Day and asks what she plans to do? She looks up expectantly at him but he turns and walks away. She asks if he is leaving but he did not even turn around.

Salewa meets Ene crying. She stops to ask why Salewa came visiting & Salewa tells her it is about Toks. She tells Salewa not to start life like that with boy trouble because she will get enough trouble as she grows up.
Brenda’s phone rings and she gives it to John to answer if it rings again. He hovers around and brendasks him what it is? He tells her that he wanted to find out if it is true she had left Odyssey pictures? She says yes. It was no longer satisfying. She wants to concentrate on Kwame’s legacy. John wishes her success. She says that is not right, collects her phone back and calls and leaves a message for Phillip. She wants to discuss Black Ananse.
Salewa consoles Ene saying that the baby is a strong baby who does not cry during his bath. Ene tells her that the doctor recommends they leave Lagos for a while for the baby to get some fresh air. They want to go and see Chuks’s mum. Salewa thinks it is a good idea so that they can learn some Hausa. Ene says they want to sub-let their flat to a responsible student who will take care of it. Salewa is happy that Ene thinks she is responsible.
Salewa meets her friends in a gay mood. They ask whether she is back with Titan? She says no but she has decided to enjoy herself. She tells them she is helping a friend get a tenant for their flat. Do they know any student looking? Sho says she is looking.
Feke asks how long it will take Angela to review the file? Angela tells her she will take as long as she needs. Feke says they have bills to pay. Angela asks her who was running the place before? She says she was. Angela reminds her that she is doing what she couldn’t do and she is responsible for the crisis she is trying to sort out. She had worked with all the big boys in the industry. She can get them out of the trouble. Feke reminds her that she worked in all the places but she never stayed and she also created rumors about mental problems. Angela tells her that she is the only boss they have now.
Sho begs Salewa to tell her where to get the room. She wants to have a place for just three of them with no other girl listening in on their gist. Salewa agrees to introduce her to Ene but warns her seriously not to mess it up.
Laide screams at Cosmos to allow her go out. Cosmos insists that they are following Phillip’s orders to escort her to wherever she wants to go to. Amaka joins them and Laide complains to her. Amaka reminds her that it is not safe for her to be out there with Caesar on the loose. She tells Amaka that Caesar has been caught. Amaka is surprised to hear that. Laide insists on leaving but upsets her bag as she carries Ife. The contents spill revealing her concealed passport! Amaka and Cosmos are shocked to see that.
Angela thanks Charlie for meeting with her at Ziggy’s. He tells her it is okay. Good things don’t come easy. Angela tells him that Brenda must be crazy if she expects an offer for that liability. She was expecting Brenda to be there when she walked in this morning but she was not there. Charlie reminds her that she fought Brenda for the same company for a while. Was she just doing that out of pride? Angela says it was Brenda’s pride and she invited her to come for the ride and her fighting was to show that she is good enough. She did not expect to get it just like a rag. Charlie asks if she will step up and run the company or not? She says she surely will step up as the CEO of the 2nd biggest company!
Amaka accuses Laide of trying to run away after helping Caesar put their lives in danger. Phillip had always been right about her! What did she want? Money or what? Laide owns up finally and says she was forced to choose between Ife and helping Caesar. Amaka does not buy it and wants to call the police. Laide begs her not to. She talks about being threatened with Ife’s death. She was going to die if she does not get a heart transplant & getting a heart was impossible. She asked around and was introduced to a man that promised to deliver a heart within one week. He delivered and Laide promised to help him whenever he needed help. Amaka says she should have come to her. Laide says the man threatened to take her heart back!
Sho and friends haughtily inspects Ene’s flat. Ene is not impressed and asks for her year, course and grades. When she asks for Sho’s parent’s job, Sho says they should be talking about the rent. Ene says it is for N250,000 and she must pay in advance. The girls readily agree and run off to get their things. Ene is surprised they accepted the offer. Salewa tells her Sho will be a good tenant. Ene says they had better be because they will hold Salewa responsible.
Brenda tries to eat but Dannie walks in and tells her she heard she left Odyssey Pictures and she knows why. She thinks Brenda is brave to leave what she built with her whole life. Kwame spoke from the heart when he described Brenda. She informs Dannie that she knows nothing about her and Kwame did not open up to her. She asks after how her prostituting herself to Ashiru went? Dannie says it was a bad idea and may have cost her some friendship. She is brave enough to admit that.
Amaka asks why Laide did not come to Fred? Laide says Fred would have done things by the book. Amaka asks how they knew she was connected to Reel Studios? She does not know butt hey may have done some research on her. One day, she got a call and was asked to come back to Lagos and re-establish contact with Reel Studios. They were smuggling goods into the country via Reel Studios’s container. She knows it is illegal but she could not help it and did not know people will be endangered. Amaka asks if she knows whether they killed a child to get the heart? Laide begs her to ask the guards to let her go and she will no longer hear from her. If she is arrested, Ife will suffer for what she did not do. Amaka’s face looks like a stone.

Segun and Sankey grapple with each other till Masters interrupts them and asks for entertainment. They are not ready to oblige him. He tells them that he should be entitled to a drink, maybe tea. They tell him he will get nothing of such. Segun asks the police men to throw everyone into jail but he tells him that the cells are full of drug people. Segun turns to Caesar and accuses him of all sorts; assault, breaking & entering, etc. Caesar says he did nothing wrong & it’s time to talk about things now. He asks Phillip to confirm that he is the one that shot his father!
Dannie talks to Salewa about going out and living her life instead of sitting at home and wasting time over a boy. As Salewa looks gloomy, Cosmos announces she has a visitor and shows Titan in. Dannie discreetly leaves them alone. He announces it is a surprise but Salewa’s mood did not change.
Angela’s staff demonstrate that they are on top of all the issues in the office. Every crisis she dreams up is taken care of from a press release to re-branding. She orders them to get on with everything they are working on and ensure it is on her desk ASAP!
Masters taunts Phillip.
Titan asks why Salewa is looking gloomy? Is it because of the voice note? He apologizes. She tells him she is not bothered about the kiss or the girl. She is just not cut out for a long distance relationship. She is even doing sexy pictures. He asks what that means? He is ready to cancel his remaining tour, etc. she tells him not to. She is not easy for anything now. It is over.
Feke and Odun discuss the press statement that is not easy. They will finalize later. Angela calls and they refuse to pick the call. Mimi comes in and tells them that they forgot about salaries. Some of them are broke and an Odyssey staff living on the street is bad publicity. Angela calls her to ask whether she has seen Delmuah or Feke? She says no and when she says they did not give her any document for Angela, Angela screams that they don’t know who they are messing with. Feke and Odun runs off while she is talking to them.
Salewa asks Dannie why it is so painful if it is the right thing? Dannie tells her a whole lot of stories about first love, etc. she believes that Salewa will get over it. Sho and her friend rush in saying they came as soon as they heard. They want to know who broke with who, etc. Salewa says she is not interested in stories. Sho worries that Titan may post the sexy picture on those websites. Salewa says she never sent it. Sho claims that boys are the same and dump girls after they sleep with them. Salewa says she did not sleep with him. Sho thinks that is why he kissed another girl but the other girl nudges her to stop.
Sankey interviews Phillip and his statement
Brenda gets into the spa and Ashiru meets her on his way out. He is happy he rubbed off on her and is surprised she is leaving Odyssey. Brenda wonders what he is talking about? He reminds her they were friends and she says nothing of such happened. And he was too ineffectual to influence her. She is there to clear out her closet.

Salewa talks to her father as her friends wait for her at the pool. Sho and her friend tell her that she is enjoying herself in the big house with the swimming pool and no parents dogging her path. Salewa says she has Carol staying with them and Sho reminds her that carol is a maid. They suddenly discover that they have no accommodation in the hostel. Salewa suddenly goes to get them snacks to their bemusement.
Sankey screams at the policemen to guard Masters not the door. Masters asks them to remove the handcuff after needling Sankey about her demotion. Segun and Sankey says no. He says he needs to make a call. Sankey hands him a phone and they insists that he puts the phone on speaker phone. He speaks with a lady in Hausa and gives them an address after dropping the phone on the floor.
Angela follows Brenda out and asks her what just happened in there? Brenda says she is sure someone took notes. Angela reminds her that they are discussing Odyssey and it is her company, her life. She cannot just walk away like that. Brenda asks her to get her cheque book ready to buy her out. Angela insists that Brenda cannot just walk away from the mess she created by her extended absence. Brenda scoffs at her and asks if she is only after the company when things are rosy? Angela says it is not that. Brenda tells her to get the cheque book out and get ready to sit in the grown-up chair.
Salewa asks the girls what they think of long distance relationship? Sho says it is not ideal and encourages Salewa to go ahead and make sexy films with Titan. The other girl says no. She insists that a lot can go wrong with that and the film could be leaked on the internet, etc. Sho insists that there is nothing wrong with that. That was what made Kim Khardasian popular. All Salewa needs to do is wear a nice underwear. Her friend says it is dangerous and suggests that Salewa and Titan can watch an online movie, read the same books, etc. Sho says they are all boring. Salewa is lost in thought.
The staff wonder what just happened and discuss how things went from bad to worse. They wonder what Angela told Brenda to make her abandon the company? Is it possible that Brenda is jumping ship, etc. they worry about her split personality and wonder how she can rescue the sinking company? Angela walks in and everyone goes quiet.
The police with Masters and Phillip drive up to a street where kids are playing football. They wonder what is going on? Sankey thinks Masters is just taking a joy ride. Masters walks up to one of the boys and whispers something into the boy’s ears. He gets up and asks Sankey for N2,000. Sankey asks if she is supposed to pay that? Masters reminds her that he happens to be a guest of the state. Sankey pays up and Masters tells them it is just around the corner.
Angela is still wondering what is going on when Charlie comes visiting her office. She tells him about the meeting and the offer Brenda made her. He wonders what is going on too? He later brightens up and wonders why Angela is not happy at getting what she had been hankering after all these while? Angela is still not convinced it is all genuine.
Carol comes into Salewa’s room and wonders why she is still in bed? Her ogi and akara will go cold, she insists. Salewa says she will soon come down. Carol leaves and Salewa takes naked pictures of herself under the cover. Carol comes back in and asks why she is still in bed? She sees the phone and naked pictures and screams! Cosmos asks what is wrong and carol says it is nothing but just a cockroach. Cosmos makes a note to fumigate. Carol berates Salewa for taking those pictures and wonders what she thinks will happen if her mum sees the pictures?
The staff accost Angela insisting on getting answers to their questions. Angela tells them she will get back to them. They insist on being told what is going on? She screams at them to get on with it. She will get back to them and they all keep quiet.
The police team roll up at another part of town and Segun arranges the men in their order. Phillip cannot come with them as it is dangerous for a civilian. Sankey can also not come because the bosses will not be happy if they hear she is involved. Sankey is not happy but eventually agrees. As the police march off, Masters tells the remaining people that it is time now to deal with the real business. They ask what is going on?
Angela is still not happy about what is going on? She goes through the various options with Charlie. Is Brenda selling her shares to her or what? Does this mean she is now CEO or what? How does this work legally? Charlie tells her that they need to sign papers transferring the shares to her. Charlie says there are plenty of variables; does Brenda want to seek all her shares to Angela? Angela says she does not have that kind of money. Charlie says Brenda may transfer enough shares to her to give her controlling interest. Angela wonders if this is a mid-life crisis or something? An idea suddenly occurs to her and she says yes, she knows how to fix it!
Masters tells them that the reason the police never catches criminals is because they announce themselves as a cavalry. He has just helped them clear the largest marijuana dealers around town at no charge. The others wonder what is going on? He says Caesar is nearby. They only need to pass through one or two back streets. Sankey asks one of the policemen to inform Segun that they have gone after Caesar. She insists that Phillip cannot come with them. He is a civilian and she will not have his blood on her hands. Phillip grumbles but stays.
The staff continue to discuss what just happened? Someone suggests that Angela had scammed Brenda and they all agree to go and explain everything to Brenda and get her to come back.
Masters leads the team to an uncompleted building. Sankey asks where Caesar is and he tells them that Caesar is somewhere nearby. They get deeper and two boys accost them. Sankey tells them she is looking for Glover Street. They tell her there is nothing like that around there. Masters walks into view with his hand cuffs and one of the boys snatches a gun from Sankey’s bag and shouts that they are policemen. A fight ensues between all of them

Lola and Bimpe are separated and then insult each other while the journalist films the whole episode. They only stop when Audu comes in and asks what Bimpe is still doing there? Bimpe leaves and he asks someone to get him all the tapes of the previous episodes of the show.
Feke comes to invite Angela to the meeting called by Brenda of all Odyssey staff and board members. She thanks Angela for finally getting through to Brenda. Angela is not sure she did till Feke tells her that Brenda has called a meeting of all staff and she wants Angela there. Angela does not agree but relents. Feke is happy that both of them are coming back to work at Odyssey. They can save Odyssey. Angela asks her to help her tidy her office.
Bimpe meets an angry Greg at Ziggy’s. He is ignoring her calls and refuses to let her sit down. She says she is sorry but he is still not fully satisfied. She explains that she told Lola about his not being the producer by accident but he still will not relent. She abandons his table and asks him to sulk on.
Amaka comes home early and meets Phillip swimming. She left early because of the busy day she had in the office; resignations, accusations. She however wants to hear why he resigned as chairman. He says it is not important. She wonders why he is resigning now? He says he had to. It is not because he is too busy chasing Caesar. He tells her it is either he resigns or someone he knows gets into trouble. She asks who is blackmailing him and he asks her to guess? She cannot believe that it is Dr. Gyang and also works out that Yaya is the one that may get into trouble as she and Phillip have not been talking lately.
Frank comes to look for Bimpe’s trouble by asking her to order for another drink. She tells him that she still has drinks in her glass. He tells her it is only cucumber. She tells him to go and disturb Greg if he is looking for who to disturb. Frank asks why they are not sharing a table as friends? She asks him who said they are friends? Frank asks Greg what else he wants and he orders for water. Lola comes in and wonders why they are sitting apart? Trouble in paradise? Bimpe asks her to stop blocking her view. She offers to buy Bimpe a drink. She is celebrating. Bimpe asks her to go ahead & waste her money. She never refuses a drink. Lola says she can afford to waste. She is the new host of the show and she still has her job at Tinsel Town. The owner called the editor and they gave her her job back. She asks Bimpe to congratulate her and Bimpe says she is so happy she could pull Lola’s hairs out. Greg asks her to stop rubbing it in and she also attacks Greg. She tells them she has a clip of them getting fired up on the website of the Juice. Her phone rings and she goes off to answer her real producer. Greg joins Bimpe and tells her that Lola has put the company in more trouble if she did that.
Brenda’s staff start congregating for the meeting wondering if she is coming in? Feke gleefully tells them Brenda is coming in and she will fix everything. Delmuah thinks Brenda is human after all and cannot fix everything in one night. They ask if Feke thinks Brenda will sack her for running the company aground?
Amaka accosts Dr. Gyang for blackmailing Phillip. She does not think that Dr. Gyang is doing what Fred wants. Amaka reminds her that he pushed for Phillip to be made chairman. He says he made a mistake. That was before police arrested Phillip and before he met his delinquent girlfriend. Amaka asks what she has to do with it? He tells her that Yaya followed him and he believes she has a hold on Phillip. Amaka wonders how Phillip resigning helps the company as they now appear rudderless? He tells her that with time, they will appoint a suitable replacement. She asks if it is him and he says the board will determine that. She reminds him that it is the same board that he convinced to appoint Phillip and gets up and leaves him.
Greg is counting his pennies as Audu has said he will not pay for the work Greg did. Bimpe is ready to fight Audu but Greg stops her. He asks if she is ready to share a sandwich of chips? She does not kind and he hails a waiter. She asks why he defended her when he is angry with her? He says it was just for five minutes. His phone rings and it is Audu inviting him to come to work tomorrow. Bimpe’s phone also starts ringing.
Angela gingerly gets into her office and Feke and Delmuah comes in to answer her summons. She asks them how Feke became head of production? Delmuah says she tried to talk Brenda out of it. Angela asks after the missing money and accountant! She wants to know if it is a mistake or crime? They believe it is a crime. She had not been to the office since the money disappeared. Angela asks if they have reported to the police? They are afraid of negative publicity. Angela orders them to make a report to the police same day.
Amaka tells Phillip that she spoke with Dr. Gyang. She is not happy he is going after the chairmanship of the company and will block it. Phillip thinks it may be the best for the company but Amaka does not share in that sentiment. As they discuss arrangements for the next day, Laide joins them at the dining table and asks who this Abubakar is and how is he qualified to catch Caesar? Phillip tells her that Abubakar’s lawyer will be willing to answer her questions tomorrow when he comes.
Feke and Delmuah discuss that Angela chewed them for obeying Brenda and not reporting Victoria at the police station. The others join in and read Angela’s many sins. Angela comes in and asks how the police station went the previous day? Feke says the report has been filed. Brenda waltzes in and greets everyone.
Barrister Eddy gives Phillip the papers for Abubakar’s release to sign. He will be vouching for Abubakar’s return to prison. Phillip asks Yusuf whether he thinks his client is trustworthy? He answers of course. Laide joins them and asks if it is D day for Caesar? Phillip leaves with Eddy to the study and asks Yusuf not to talk to Laide. Immediately he leaves, Yusuf chats her up and tells her Phillip may appear to be rash but desperate people are like that as she will appreciate. He reminds her of their heart arrangement and she gasps when she realizes what he is talking about. He asks after Ife? He will love to meet the famous Ife.
Audu chews Lola for uploading the video which has gone viral. Bimpe and Greg, who just walked in asks if they can go and come back later? Audu does not think it necessary. He blames her for spoiling their show and leaving them with no sponsors, etc. he has also looked at the clips of the competition and there is no sign of favouritism. He does not think Lola can present the show. She is too wooden. Bimpe asks what they are there for and Audu says they need to issue a joint statement about the clip that has gone viral. Greg is happy to join but Bimpe stops him and asks Audu what is in it for them?
Brenda apologizes to everyone for her prolonged absence which is due to the death of her brother. It has also affected her connection to the company. She is not there to fix the company. She asks Angela to make her an offer for the company. Everyone is shocked!

Angela and Brenda end up in Dan’s office. Angela commiserates with Brenda about the death of Kwame and what it must have done to Brenda. She appreciates that it had to do with her. Brenda flares up and tells Angela that it is good she knows. Angela asks her to shove it. She is not there to fight and they should let things be and move on. She is there to talk about Odyssey. Brenda is not interested. She has a speech to prepare. Angela asks how she could have handed the company over to a PA while she goes around town having lunch with some dude and yoga. She thought she was the crazy one. If this is what has become of Brenda Nanah Mensah, then she could have also been buried in the box with Kwame. She shoves the file into Brenda’s hands and walks off.
Bimpe grumbles about feeling guilty about Lola. She should not even be bothered. Greg tells her it is good to be bothered. It shows she has a good heart. Bimpe laughs at that and looks in the mirror. Greg convinces her that her worrying is good and if not she will not be feeling guilty. Bimpe smiles and launches into how Lola threw her a couple of curved balls during their competition. Lola was doing everything like her and Bimpe for once saw someone like a friend. Greg insists she has a nice heart. Bimpe comes and holds him and says he says a lot of nice things. Greg runs off to her dismay.
Dannie invites Brenda to say something about Kwame after showing a clip of their film. Brenda starts her speech and Ashiru gets up from his seat and moves to join Dannie at the bar with Brenda’s eyes following him. Dannie asks if he is there to ask her opinion on his girlfriend’s nice speech? He tells her that Brenda is no one’s girlfriend. She asks what happened and he tells her to feel free to say I told you so. He her about her urge to exorcise Kwame’s spirit by sleeping with someone else as the camera gets back to Brenda’s speech about Kwame and Phillip.
Bimpe visits Ene and Ene asks her if she is sure she is in the right place? Should she not be taking care of her baby instead of harassing Bimpe? Bimpe cannot smell food and asks if that is what happens when women are nursing? Ene says it is what happens when neighbours stop cooking for leechy neighbours. Bimpe eventually gets to talk to Ene about her involvement in Lola’s loss of job. Ene says she was sure Bimpe had a lot to do with that. Bimpe says no. It was Harriet that caused the problems. Ene is surprised and wonders why Bimpe will tell Greg about it? Bimpe tells her that she is surprised that Greg said she has a good heart. She believes that Greg probably does not know her well enough. As they discuss, Greg walks into Ene’s apartment. He went to get Bimpe a treat! Ene looks at her like what is going on here?
Yaya comes to meet Phillip and wonders when he came back? He says he has been around for a while. She sits down and apologizes for what happened at Dr. Gyang’s. She is sorry she got caught. She asks Phillip to take her into the room so that she can make up for what she did. He tells her that she is a long way from making things up.
A bored Yaya eats alone and as she gets up to leave the dining table, she bumps into Laide and asks her to look where she is going. Laide lashes back at her. She accuses Laide of staying in another woman’s house and will soon end up in jail. Laide calls her a tramp that is latching unto an irresponsible young man who is also latching unto his father’s wealth. She advises Yaya to move on or Phillip will leave her for the next babe. She leaves and Laide settles down with her baby. She calls and asks when her check for Harvest will be due? She is alarmed that it will take so long. She says she will be making some changes to the account information. She tells the baby that they will soon start off on their adventure as their bags are packed and no one has anything on them yet. She did not see Phillip listening behind her.
The press talks to Dannie about a successful event but Angela keeps them off. They agree that Angela should go as Dannie still has stuff to fix at the venue. Brenda walks up to her and tells her that the day went better than she expected. Dannie wonders why Brenda still expects her to fail on a day like this? Brenda is happy she did not put up one of those things she calls arts. Dannie hands her an envelope containing the shares to black Ananse. Brenda asks why? She says Brenda is right. She did not have a memorable romance with Kwame. She asks Brenda to examine whether she is worthy of the shares and leaves. Brenda asks when she is leaving town? Dannie says she is staying!
Phillip asks Laide where she is going to? Laide says he should not be eavesdropping on people’s conversations. Phillip tells him that they are both guilty of doing things they should not be doing. Phillip asks why she is leaving when the bad guy that made her move in has not been caught? He tells her that she is not going anywhere. She insists that she is a guest and not a prisoner. She will go wherever she wants. Phillip promises to report to the police if she leaves. Laide rants and leaves as Cosmo comes in. He tells Cosmo to inform the security men to let him know whenever Laide leaves the house with her daughter and to also escort her to wherever she wants to go.
Dannie and Ashiru stop in a car and he asks her if she is still ready to go through with it? She says yes, if he is. He asks if she is ready to do it there? She says that is the right place since it is Kwame’s place. They get down from the car to move on and Brenda rolls up and sees them walking away together!
Greg and Bimpe end up at Ziggy’s from their movie date. He is happy she is in a good mood now. Frank welcomes them and as they settle in, she asks Greg when he thinks they should go out normally? He advises that they wait for the end of the finale. As they talk about the contest, Bimpe believes that Lola will not show up for the competition. Greg wonders why she thinks so? She says that with the way Lola walked out, if she appears at the set, she may want to pull off Bimpe’s wig on air! Just then, Lola walks into the bar. Immediately Greg calls her name! Bimpe runs and hides behind him. Lola comes in and hugs her. Telling her she has forgiven her.
Amaka joins Majek and a HR staff for joining them late. She was delayed in a viewing. Majek says it is about time they started. She asks that they start but Majek says the performance review is a farce anyway. She asks him to be professional and he fires back that he cannot be professional when she had kept him there for so long. He asks that it be placed on record that the CEO kept them waiting and he came on time and was ready to answer any questions. As they wer about to start, she asks that they call Funmi but Funmi walks in to give Amaka a letter. She reads it and asks how it got to the office? Did Phillip come? Funmi says no and she gets up and asks that they postpone the hearing. Majek screams but she was already gone.
Dannie and Ashiru end up in Kwame’s flat. They agree to go ahead. Ashiru says he had never done this before and suggests they try and set the right mood with probably a drink. Dannie says she does not drink but eventually fishes out a bottle of drink from Kwame’s fridge she uncorks it and takes a swig straight from the bottle. As she comes up for air, Ashiru asks if she is still okay? She says yes and turns the bottle up again. He quickly rushes her and seals her lips with a kiss.
Phillip welcomes Barrister Eddy and immediately asks what the news is? Eddy tells him that they will have Abubakar for 6 hours to assist in catching Caesar. Phillip looks shocked but Eddy tells him to make it count.
